The Internal Medicine B Department focuses on internal medicine, with particular emphasis on patients suffering from hematological disorders and liver diseases. The Department operates a clinic to treat former inpatients as well as patients referred to the clinic by their HMO doctor for a consult.
The Department is recognized as a full specialization in internal medicine by the Scientific Council, and is affiliated with the Technion’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in Haifa.
The Department includes a medical student training program in which doctors lecture medical students on hematological, autoimmune and liver diseases at the medical school.
