Hillel Yaffe: 100% success in specialty exams

According to the results received from the Scientific Council of the Israeli Medical Association, eight new specialists joined the medical team of the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in the last week, after having successfully passed the second stage of the specialty certificate certification exam, .

The new specialists specialize in the fields of internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and gynecology fields.  

“This is a young and promising group that has worked very hard in the past few years in order to prove itself,” said Professor Motti Helek, Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Chairman of the Specialists Board of the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. “The results have proven that their efforts and our combined efforts have paid off. The fact that we achieved a rate of 100% success is not only important but also, as it is a difficult feat to achieve, it serves as a confirmation of the quality of these young specialists and the training they received here.” 

In addition to the fact that 100% passed the test, at “Hillel Yaffe” we can also be proud of the fact that  many of them passed with high marks –among those who took the test was an intern from the Orthopedics A department, Dr. Yaron Zarfati, who completed the tests with flying colors.  

Professor Meir Oren, General Director of the Medical Center: “The successful completion of the second stage of the specialty exam is an indicator that the residents, who have come a long way here, meet the required standards in Israel and around the world. This is also a testament to our ability, as a hospital, to provide residents with the resources to reach proper professional maturity under the best of conditions, while simultaneously providing the tools for succeeding in their examinations and in their future practices.”
